First Fill up, Wrong "Average fuel consumption" in Stats

Sebastian R 9 years ago updated 9 years ago 2
Hey,
what is the correct way for input the first fill up of a new car?
I have bought a new car. There was about 7 kilometers on the tacho and still some fuel in the tank (perhaps about 10 or 15 liters, don't know how much exactly) when i fill up the first time. I filled up until max, wrote the data into fuelio and checked the option "Missed previous". Now after 2nd and 3rd fill up, I recognized that the calculated data of "average fuel consumption" under Stats seems not calculated correctly, it's much to low.
Any suggestions what I can do to get the correct values?

Greetings
Basti

All time top 10

chuck coffman 9 years ago updated by Adrian 9 years ago 1
One suggestion I'd like to make. I track one vehicle 🚗 but break down expenses by a set period of time. I have been doing this by entering a new vehicle each period. e. g. My car 1, my car 2, my car 3 etc… This allows me to compare costs period to period. I would like to see a way where the app can do this, or a way to merge the data so you can not only compare from one period to the next but cam also see what the lifetime total expenses etc are. It's still one of the top 10 apps available. Thanks for developing it.

Please mail me. You've probably imported old .db backup to in new version. Database schema changed in new version.

It won't happen again - now when I'll change database schema export filename will change.

Just send me your .db file. Export your data to .db and I'll upgrade your database manually.

Charts - Cost per X (distance)

Gabriel Alejandro 9 years ago updated 9 years ago 2
I configured my Fuelio app to display distance in kilometres. But when I access the Charts section, there is a tab that reads 'Cost per Mile' instead of 'Cost per KM'. Attached is a screenshot.

Error importing database (file not found)

Pepote Garcia 9 years ago updated by Prima Knh 5 years ago 7
Hello

I formatted my phone today and made a backup to sd card (database, not CSV). After format I copied Fuelio folder to my SD card and app can't import: says file not found. Path is /sdcard/Fuelio/backup-db/fuelio6.db and version is 3.80.

I'm doing anything wrong? Can I convert this file to a CSV format?

Thanks

Changing date crashes fuelio

Antti Savinen 9 years ago updated by Adrian 9 years ago 9
Changing date on cost or fill up pops up android date dialog and crashes fuelio immediately. Repeatable. I tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it, but didn't fix it. Fuelio version 5.0.3. I've sent several android bug reports after crash.

Incorrect MPG (US)

M C 11 years ago updated by Adrian 10 years ago 13
US mpg looks incorrect. For instance, I used 8.91 gallons and added 199 miles - mpg should be 22.33, it shows 22.31. Last time, I drove 276 miles and used 11 gallons - mpg should be 25.09, it shows 25.07. Can you into that? Otherwise, I love the app, much cleaner interface than other fuel apps (I'm a big fan of light themes!)

Import CSV Format

Michael Ingraham 11 years ago updated by Adrian 7 years ago 25

I am just starting to use the app on Android.  I have fill-up information for our cars in an Excel spreadsheet.  I want to put that data into the right format to import into the app.  I tried adding a vehicle and adding one fill-up and exporting from Fuelio.  I searched my storage using Solid Explorer but I cannot find the exported file.  In any case, what I really need is the field order for the CSV import file so I can create the file to import into Fuelio.  Thanks.

Dropbox is much better here. With Drive it's because of permission. Fuelio can have access only to files you have created with the app. You. You need to download file to your from Drive app and use standard import option (you can browse for files while importing.
