Is there a way for two or more people to share a vehicle on multiple devices (accounts) and sync them?

Yes. Currently it's in beta but it's working. Connect your phone/tablet with Google Drive or Dropbox and check - autobackup and sync option. At start Fuelio will check the data and it's newer data it will import this data.

But the other people have their own google drive.

How do I do it without giving them my login info?

Create new Google Drive account or for Dropbox I'm using App API which is not giving access to your data - only the Fuelio directory.

Right now there is no way to sync between different accounts - for this we need third party server and store your data somewhere.

it seems to be working to share the content of the sync folder in Dropbox (/Apps/fuelio/sync) with the other account after creating the folder /Apps/fuelio.

i haven't try the auto sync, but manual sync works

Is there an update according this feature, I know a few people that would like to use this

Hi Adrian.

Previously I shared my vehicle on two different phones, but now I cannot share between me and my wife

I have been using Fuelio for over a year now and I have never had success syncing data between two Android devices.  I use the Google Drive back up services on both devices.  When I manually back up the data on one device and download the data on the other device nothing happens on the 2nd device and the data is not updated.  I tried the import and export functionality but on the 2nd device it creates and entirely new vehicle instead of updating the existing one.  I have to then delete the previous vehicle to successfully show the updated data.  Does anyone else have this problem with syncing data?  Is there a better way of syncing data?

Hey @adrian, I just started using Fuelio because I want to share between my wife and I using our own phones and our own google accounts. Thanks for creating this.

I shared the Android/Fuelio folder from my account to my wife's account and stored it in the same structure.  The data is available to her and she has full edit rights.  But the app shows "there's a problem syncing" or similar error. What is it that's causing the error in this case? Are you checking the ownership of the files?  Can you just configure Fuelio to ignore file / folder ownership and just confirm the files exist and are structured correctly?
