Date or counter value is wrong

I have this problem too. Trying to enter a refuelling from 2022-09-07 the error appears 

"Error! Date or counter value is wrong".

I had to enter a false date of 2022-10-05 for Fuelio to accept the entry. What's going on here? Fuelio doesn't accept entries older than a week old?

Same issue here, but the entry is for today (Feb 3, 2026)!

I Have used this app for years on end but just bought the Pro version to scan receipts. Was wondering if this issue was connected to that upgrade.

Send me mail to the contact from Play Store. It's not a bug but it's probably error in the log. This error is showing when you have mistake in the log.

Thank you for your incredibly prompt response. I was just coming back here to update my post said that I found the issue. In this case, the previous entry had an incorrect mileage value which made today's entry lower than the previous one. The error trapping was entirely correct, but I did chase the possibility of the date being the issue for a while first.
