I would like to be able to mark when I check oil, water and tyres when I put in fuel.

Maybe dropdowns on the add page to select, Checked, Refilled, Did nothing, for each option.

Or something like that.

You don't seem to be using the /Fuelio/ folder for anything else than backups, so for the sake of cleaning up the SD directory, I'd like a setting where I could specify the backup folder manually. (e.g. say that I can put my backup in /sdcard/Backups)

It would be nice, if the trip-Log would read and add the odometer-value. And at the next fill-up it takes this value as pre defined in the Odometer form.

Service reminders could be improved in Fuelio.

However, they're the strong point of Simply auto. I suggest you take a look at how they work.

Here it is:

The first time we add a service entry (e.g. oil change at 86 235 km on 2020/04/10), we create the "oil change" service task if doesn't exist and set it as recurrent.

Then we can set the mileage and/or days/months/years before the next reminder (e.g. 15 000 km and 1 year for oil change).

After the first of these is reached, we get a reminder. To reset that reminder, we add a new service entry with the already created "oil change" service task.

Since we enter the date and total mileage, the app can reset automatically the reminder and check when to set the next one.

When we add a service entry, we can select multiple service tasks at once (e.g. oil change, spark plugs, air filter...) by checking checkboxes in front of each one).

No need to add one service entry for each service task we made that day on the car.

Here's what the service task selection screen looks like:

Implementing the service reminders that way would make Fuelio bulletproof and very user friendly in that regard.

Could you please add a new field in the cost section called "location". It would be great if each cost had the ability to add an address or select an item on the map where that cost was incurred.

No speed data is recorded when using app in background while using Android Auto. GPS track and height information are fine however.

Average speed seems to work, maximum speed showing wrong data.

Hi,

I have been using your app for the last couple of months and I like it. However, I have a query that has been bothering me since the first full fillup - as to how Fuelio calculates mileage? Fuelio doesn't know the fuel capacity of my car and my fuel fillups vary in the amount of petrol I put in. For instance, I can go to a full fillup from a quarter tank, half tank, or three quarters of a full tank. I never wait for the fuel meter to read empty.

This may seem like a dumb question but your opinion in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I travel often on business trips and I would like tro track the mileage reimbursement my company gives me. The simplest way to do this could be if I could enter a "negative" cost (currently not possible), or it would be even better if a specific action could be selected for Mileage Reimbursement (i.e. with km + reimbursement rate ). Any ideas/suggestions?
