Create CSV in Excel

Tenley Hough 10 year бұрын updated by niklazni 3 year бұрын 4
I'm new to Fuelio and trying to import my data from a previous app. I exported a csv from both apps and used Excel to get the data from my old app into the format Fuelio uses, however it appears the CSV Excel saves is a different format than the one Fuelio creates. Below are the examples from Excel (first) and Fuelio (2nd). Importing the one from Excel causes Fuelio to crash. Anyone know how to save the Excel data to the same format of CSV as Fuelio uses?

(Excel)

Name,Description,DistUnit,FuelUnit,ConsumptionUnit,ImportCSVDateFormat,,,,,
Tenley's car,Description,1,1,1,yyyy-MM-dd,,,,,

Reminders - deleted remider.

Martin Zajicek 9 year бұрын updated by Adrian 9 year бұрын 23

Reminders - deleted remider. I have some reminders in my reminder list. After last update, if I open my reminder list and tap on "modify" menu is modify form opened.if I tap in check icon (right up corner), modifying reminder lost from reminder lists (is deleted). Now it is not possible to modify any reminder.

I have tried these options:

  1. I created new reminder with "Date Remind" and then I want to modify it. Reminder disappeared.
  2. I created new reminder with "Odo Remind" and then I want to modify it. Reminder disappeared.
  3. I created new reminder with "Date Remind" and "Date repeat" and then I want to modify it. Reminder stays in list.
  4. I created new reminder with "Odo Remind" and "Odo repeat" and then I want to modify it. The application crashed. App restarted and new reminder was in list.
    1. When I modified this reminder and remove value from "Odo Repeat", the reminder disappeared.
  5. I created new reminder with "Date Remind" and "Odo repeat" and then I want to modify it. The application crashed. App restarted and new reminder was in list.

Information about period from one to another fill up

In the mileage log list it would be nice to see the period (in days) from one to another fill up (like the distance).

UK MPG calculation is wrong

S tu 12 year бұрын жаңартылды 12 year бұрын 4

I have entered 5 dummy fill-ups to get used to the functionality of the app & to confirm my local values (UK miles travelled, litres fill-up & mpg) are supported but am presented with an incorrect average mpg figure.

Basic data entered:

Fillup 1 - 126463 miles, 28.03 litres to full

Fillup 2 - 127000 miles, 32.00 litres to full, 76.35mpg

Fillup 3 - 127500 miles, 28.00 litres to full, 81.18mpg

Fillup 4 - 127750 miles, 14.00 litres to full, 81.18mpg

Fillup 5 - 128300 miles, 40.00 litres to full, 62.5mpg

A total of 1837 miles (app shows 1836!) & 142.08 litres of fuel.

While the between fill-ups mpg is corect, the average shown by the app is 73.25mpg wheras actual is 58.784mpg!

A last gripe is that, even though I select  my preferred mileage log date format, the default is still shown on all charts & also the export csv is very basic compared with other apps & also shows lp100 not my local UK mpg figures.

Apart from that, fantastic app!

Triplog does not start automatically

MaroIshiku 2 апта бұрын жаңартылды 2 апта бұрын 1

Hi everybody,

I decided to start logging my trips with Fuelio as I just got a new Car. But it does not seem to work.

Battery Optimization is turned off for Fuelio and every permission is set. I even have the app open, but nothing happens.

Also: It would be great, when the App would show a running trip while recording in the Trip Log, not only showing a notification.

Bluetooth Name is correct. Is it perhaps a Fuelio Pro feature?

My specs:

Car: VW Passat B9

Phone: Pixel 9 Pro on Android 16

Fuelio Version: 9.11.3

Another option would be for me to start it via Automate/Tasker or another broadcast sending app - Do you by chance know what action in which broadcast receiver can start/stop trip recording?

Best greetings from Germany

Marlo

Fuelio Shows My Costs, But What About My Driving?

chloeii 1 ай бұрын 0

I've been a regular Fuelio user, and honestly, it’s helped me feel more aware of how much I spend on fuel, especially with prices going up and down so often. I can track every fill-up, compare fuel stations, and even notice how often I’m refueling, which has helped me make better decisions. But the more I use it, the more I notice something is missing—my actual driving behavior.

What I mean is, I can clearly see the cost, but I don’t always understand why those costs are the way they are. Sure, there’s distance and fuel economy, but that doesn’t always tell the full story. For example, I might have driven only 30 km in a day, but if that included tons of stops, traffic, or several short trips, that changes the picture completely. I’m someone who juggles daily errands, school runs, and visiting family—and sometimes I can’t even remember how many little drives I did in one day, let alone understand how they’re impacting my fuel use.

A driving tracker, for those who may not be familiar, is an online tool to track driving mileage, trip details, and driving habits such as time spent on the road or number of stops. These tools usually help users understand their driving style better by collecting data from each trip and offering a summary of patterns. They’re not just about showing a map or calculating distance—they reveal behaviors that might affect fuel use, stress levels, or even how efficiently time is spent on the road.

The trip logs are helpful, but they don’t always make me reflect on the why behind the drives. I started noticing patterns like filling up more often when I’m stressed or taking the long way home when I’m tired. These things aren’t obvious from just looking at mileage or fuel economy stats. I started wishing there was some way to bring more awareness into how I use my car—not just how much it costs.

I once got inspired positively by a tool that used a driving tracker. It didn’t just map the route or count kilometers—it noticed behaviors like frequent idling, super short trips that could’ve been combined, or how often I drove during high-traffic hours. Just seeing that in a calm, visual way helped me rethink my habits without feeling judged. It made me want something similar in Fuelio—not a full behavioral analysis, but a little extra insight into how I’m driving, not just where and how far.

I think this is where Fuelio could really shine more. Imagine if once a week, it gave me a quick summary of my “driving style”—not technical details, just little cues like: “Most of your trips this week were under 5 minutes,” or “You drove more in the evening than usual.” Even just seeing a gentle suggestion like “Consider combining short trips” might help me plan better without needing to open a different tool or app.

I know Fuelio is a web-based tool and not trying to be everything at once—and that’s what I like about it. It’s clean, focused, and simple. But I wonder if there’s a way to build a bridge between what I spend and how I drive, without making it too complicated. For someone like me, who likes using data but doesn’t want to dig through every number, a small visual or summary could go a long way.

So I’d love to ask the community: do you ever feel like your driving habits are left out of the picture when you look at your fuel and trip data? If you could have one extra insight about your actual driving routine—not technical stats, but behavioral patterns—what would help you the most? I’m really curious how others think about this and whether it would be helpful to have that kind of “personal reflection” feature added to Fuelio in a light, optional way.

Let’s share ideas! What would make you feel more in tune with both your car and your habits?

Where is the '+' button to add a new fill up entry on iPhone?  The app looks completely different on iPhone than Android.

When should I use "Missed Previous Fill-up"?

ImTheRealMarco 9 ай бұрын 0

Hello, I am just getting my data into the app as I've previously used other apps to track my fuel consumption, but now I am in a dillema. Since all my fill-ups are.. previous, should I be using this function? I do have exact dates and all that and have already properly inputted all of them into the app, it's just that I'm unsure if I should check this or not / when I should be using it, like only if I miss a fill-up between other fill-ups? Also, fill-up = full tank, right? Sorry for the confusion and thank you in advance.

Showing wrong mpg calulations

Subotai 9 ай бұрын жаңартылды 9 ай бұрын 1

Hi a few days ago fuelio started showing the wrong calculations for mpg so I reinstalled the app and it is still saying my car is getting 9 mpg which is impossible for the kilometers I've driven.
