I would like to select an associated image from a pre-defined list of symbols when setting up my vehicles. If this icon also reflected in the top right corner when adding a record, I could easily verify that the correct vehicle is selected when adding a record0.  Example images could include: sedan, hatchback, convertible, coupe, off-road bike, road bike, quad bike, boat, jet ski...  A numeric overlay (1-4) could add more available symbols.

Cannot save gps position.

Gps location used to work fine. Since last update I cannot serm to plot fuel stops. Map works fine and locates me just doesnt geolocate fills.

Multiple Issues concerning Usability

Some other things I noticed while switching to the app today:
  • (love the "add" widget in the PRO version of the app which allows the user to configure which car the new entry is added to. however,) fuelio should remember the last selected car or it should have a default car so that when the app is killed and restarted, the desired car is selected automatically. otherwise, people need to always check whether the correct car is selected when a new entry is added.
  • scrolling in the mileage list performs very badly
  • when editing an entry, the heading reads "Add", but it should read "Edit" or something, at least IMHO ;p
  • one can add a new car but not enter any name or description. such an entry in the list of cars is very confusing.

Average miles per month

Would it be possible to add a cell in the average matrix for average miles per month? I keep track of this stat and could be useful for anyone who leases a vehicle.

Since many people use this app, is it possible to search for a specific cars fuel consumption, maintenance costs?

This would be similar to spritmonitor's search function.

iPhone auto backup

I have moved from Android to iPhone and I don't see an option for auto backup to Dropbox or Google Drive as there was on my old Android phone, am I missing something or is this something you can add into the iPhone version please?

Add a timeframe for recurring costs

Any possibility to define a timeframe for a recurring cost? In example insurance cost change every year and if I modify the actual year they modify past values. Thanks

Monthly distance graph based on fill ups, not trip log

Under Charts > Monthly Distance is a nice graph and table showing the distance driven. In both, if there is no fuel top up in the month then this value will be "0". Instead, it should only use this method of calculation if the trip log is empty. By using trip log, the information in this graph (and maybe others) would be more accurate
